Summary

The last events of the Third Servile War in 71BC, where the army of Spartacus broke the seige by Marcus Licinius Crassus' legions and retreated toward the mountains near Petelia (modern Strongoli) in Bruttium. Shows the initial skirishes between elements of the two sides, the turn-about of the Spartacan forces, and the final confrontation, as well as the legions of Pompey moving in from the north to clean up the survivors.
